the JDM market is packed with cars they don’t export. some- such as kei cars- they can’t because they don’t meet other regions’ standards; others are just too weird and wouldn’t sell. on my first trip to Japan, stepping out of Narita the first vehicle I saw was a Toyota Alphard. Immediately I thought “What the fuck is an Alphard? ”

I’m quite familiar with the JDM market, but this particular vehicle has never crossed my path. I’d love to import a Kei car into the states. My personal favorite has always been the Honda Beat.
